What makes a life spiritual?
"Spiritual living" is often thought of as separate to our normal lives, something we go on a retreat or pilgrimage to do, or practice during set-aside times.
When I realised that my spiritual life could be expressed in my day-to-day living, a peace beyond all understanding opened up for me. It is not something just for Sundays, or Saturdays, or this time or that – it is being present in every moment, and aware of what’s really 'going on'. The simple act of living mindfully constitutes my spiritual life.
We are born alone and die alone, and we can make the most of what’s in between by fully experiencing each living moment.
I remain very grateful to the people who, either in person or through their books, have guided me to look within myself, and find the peace, love and gratitude that comes from an open heart.
Ultimately the best spiritual help I can provide to others is by continuing to free my own soul. By doing so, others may also subsequently be inspired to seek within.
As I keep deepening my spiritual life, I invite you to join with me on this journey of spiritual living. I would love to share my knowledge and experience with you. You can contact me for an appointment via this site: www.carolgoddard.net
I also invite you to experience the spiritual self-help that the main character Sam experiences in my book A Life Like Yours. You can purchase it at www.carolgoddard.net
